According to a post at MaidenFans.com, IRON MAIDEN will be releasing a new CD single, 'The Trooper', this summer. It's already certain that it will be released in Spain this month ahead of the Lorca Rock festival, with other territories to follow.
The first song one the single is the orginal tune from the 'Piece of Mind' album (1983), in celebration of the band's current 'Early Days' tour. The second track is a live recording of that same song made in 2003, in anticipation to the release of the forthcoming 'Death on the Road' DVD, slated to hit stores shelves on August 29.
