🔹Distress as reward

Despite the difficulty suffered by the Prophet and companions at the Battle of Uhud, we read:

فَأَثَـٰبَڪُمۡ غَمَّۢا بِغَمٍّ۬

"He rewarded you one distress after another…" (Qur'an 3:153).

He did not say 'afflicted you', but rather 'rewarded you'.

Did you ever imagine that distress can be a reward? One day you will find out how your distress saved you from the Hellfire, and how your patience admitted you into Paradise.
